The Products: (another way to donate)

Around the year 2000 we created a 3-Cd set of all the words of Jesus in the King James Version of the Bible.  We created this to help get the knowledge of the Lord out in his words to everyone who would listen, but also because it’s unique in that you can HEAR every WORD Jesus spoke – most of which was amazing teaching!  We still hold to reading all of God’s Word in its entirety, because every word was inspired by God, not just what Jesus said, but this is something powerful and as it states in the song from D.C. Talk that is on the first CD, “there is Love in the Red Letters”.  If you purchase this product, the money will go DIRECTLY to Gifts for Orphans around the world either in Ukraine or Cameroon.

To purchase these CD’s – you must go to www.jesustalks.com and find our products page.

Matthew 25:40 "And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.'"

Some History about Pastor Rick and family:

Since I was 9 years old I felt the call to pastor in my heart. I have followed that dream through many difficult and faith testing times. I did many outreaches as a teenager while in High School and working on my grandparents farm in Wisconsin. When I turned 18, I moved to Tulsa, OK to do my undergraduate work in Theology at Oral Roberts University. Each year I traveled during the summer and did missions overseas which resulted in preaching in over 20 countries. During the school year I volunteered my time as a Chaplain and Dorm Coordinator for Campus Outreach Ministries. As the Lord willed, I finished my Masters of Divinity in May 2001. Since that time I have been a youth pastor, an associate pastor and a part-time senior pastor.

In 2004 I felt called to be a full-time Missionary in Kiev, Ukraine.  Finally, after fund raising, saving, and getting out of debt, I moved to Kiev in October 2005.  Once there I started learning Russia at a missionary school, starting working the Father’s House on Christmas projects for Orphans and street children, and started an English Club with young adults to reach out to them through friendship evangelism.  In the fall of 2006 I met Tanya Govorukha, whom married me on July 7, 2007 and became Tanya Schwendinger!  With the addition to my family budget and our desire to have children we decided a shoestring budget wasn’t the best.  Therefore, we moved back the USA for a few years to raise more funds.  Oddly enough, we came back just before the crisis of 2008 and raising funds became too difficult, since most of my supporters even lost their jobs.  I work building and remodeling homes to support our family since 2008.

In August 2009 we had our first child, Ksenia Pearl Schwendinger, who is such a joy and blessing to us.  Pastor Rick has continued to preach at churches and eventually became a part-time pastor at Living Faith Church in Fennimore, WI in early 2010.  Tanya started her own photography business as well in June 2010, which you can see at www.preciousmoments.org.
All this time, we still continue to raise funds, but NOT for our living expenses but for Children Christmas projects in Ukraine.  Since 2005 we have raised well over $15,000 for these Christmas projects.  Then, on December 2, 2011, our second blessing arrived named Sky Alexander Schwendinger.  Alexander means, “Defender of mankind”, and therefore, we are ever looking to the sky for the real Defender of Mankind to return

2 Tim. 2:15 “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth”.

Some Goals:

We continue to raise funds and give towards helping children and the needy. Like stated above The Christmas Children’s Project – which purchases Christmas gifts that go directly into the hands of Homeless Children and Orphans (at Christian and State Orphanages). The presentation of the Gospel is very effective in this culture of “faith with works”. Each child receives a gift worth $20 (which is huge for them), and the gifts include practical items as well as fun gifts.  Again, we have raised over $15,000 for orphans since December 2005! Praise God!

We also do short-term trips to reach out to the hurting, which we have continued to do each year since 2008.  In 2012, Pastor Rick is going with 7 other local like-minded missionaries to Ukraine and Cameroon.  Most of the trip will be spent in Cameroon building a maternity ward so that women in the jungle can give birth on a clean bed, but we are doing dentist and medical clinics, too.

In the future we still want to MOVE to Ukraine or another nation to do Missions with boots on the ground.  Therefore, Rick has started his Masters in Education in order that he may teach at an English speaking school and provide a living while serving in a local church.  Most of his life he has worked a main job in order to do ministry.  Our hearts are always for Ukraine, the hurting, and the lost.  Please join us in prayer and come along side us in ministry if you please with support or purchasing our JesusTalks CD’s.  Thank you very MUCH!

“If I could take every one of you on a long journey…that you might see what I have seen, that you might hear what I have heard, that you might feel what I have felt, the last iota of skepticism which may linger as to the need of these people of knowing Christ would vanish.” – John R. Mott
